Grand 22 day Exclusive - trip:
Possible already with only one participant !! Stay at the Atlantic Ocean, either near the sea or near the beach in the picturesque sea resort of Saquarema, with many excursion possibilities. Afterwards from Rio de Janeiro to the waterfalls of Iguaçu, Brasilia, the new capital of Brazil – and Manaus in the Amazon, with a several day stay in a jungle lodge, or city hotel with jungle excursions. All transfers and flights inclusive !! 1. Day : Arrival in Rio, here you will be expected and brought to our Guest Farm, about 55 miles north-east of Rio. Here you will spend 12 nights/full board and double occupancy. You have the option to divide these 12 nights/full board into 6 nights/full board before, and 6 nights/full board, in Saquarema, after your round trip. Due to the consequent additional costs for transportation, there will be a price increase, all in all, of EURO 130 for up to 3 persons. During these days you will have the opportunity to make optional outings in a typical and unspoiled countryside, to get acquainted with the country and people, and to get to know the fascinating metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. Afterwards, or in between, you will make the grand Round trip: 8 days, double occupancy, with breakfast, in hotels in the upper middle class category. All transfers and English spoken accompanied excursions are detailed as follows: (all entrance fees are included)
14. Day: Departure flight from Rio de Janeiro to Foz de Iguaçu , to the most awesome and spectacular water falls of the world in the border triangle BRAZIL – ARGENTINA and PARAGUAY
Arrival at 02:45p.m. , pick up at airport by our English speaking guide Bill Shakespeare and transfer to your 4 star hotel the Rafain Palace. Your guide will accompany you during the entire stay and organize the excursions. 2 nights, double occupancy, including breakfast, in a spacious hotel, with a beautiful pool area, situated in the suburbs of Foz de Iguaçu. In the afternoon: an extended walk on the Brazilian side of the falls, with spectacular vistas of the Argentine side of the falls. 15. Day: After the opulent tropical breakfast: drive to the Argentine side of the waterfalls, and an approximate 3-4 hours hike along that side, through jungle, along specially constructed catwalks at the edges of the falls, depending on the water level there can be up to 250 different falls. A 1500 meter wooden catwalk leads to the “Devil’s throat”, where you have the most impressive view of the huge amounts water cascading into the abysm, and of the Brazilian side.
In the afternoon we will visit the world’s largest hydro power plant “ITAIPU”, which is a joint venture of Brazil and Paraguay. Departure to Brasilia (with aircraft change in São Paulo), arrival there at about 08:00p.m., pick up and transfer to a 4 star hotel, in this, by
the world famous architect Oscar Niemeyer, futuristic designed city, which is Brazil’s new capital since 1960. From the observation tower you can see, that the city’s outline is in the form of a giant airplane, and the government quarters depict the cockpit. 18. Day: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Manaus, in the Amazon. Arrival is around 01:00p.m. Transfer-in , with City - tour (Teatro, Museu do Indio, Mercado), to the 4 star hotel “Tropical Manaus”, of the Tropical hotel chain. English speaking travel guide 3 nights dbl/occupancy, incl. Breakfast (As an alternative, upon request, you can choose to stay in the jungle lodge Amazonat Resort, about 2 hours away from Manaus, whereby the following day programs change but the same contents imparted.) 19. Day: Day boat tour (mini safari) to the meeting of the rivers with lunch – and supper in a floating restaurant, including piranha fishing and crocodile flashing… (duration approximately 12 hours) 20. Day: Day trip in an air conditioned vehicle to Presidente Figueiredo (waterfalls,caves, high jungle “terra firme”), including the possibility for a swim and lunch. Duration until about 05:00p.m. 21. Day: Transfer-out to the airport for your flight back to Rio de Janeiro, arrival in the evening.

Instead of a direct return flight home, you can extent your Brazilian adventure, here with us, in a very nice Pousada. Each additional week would cost EURO 440 (7 days full board and Transfers - Price per person in dbl/occupancy)
